What’s in a name?

Be it on the lapel of a tailored Savile Row suit, or adorning the coachwork of a classic Ferrari, a signature underpins the quality and integrity of those who crafted it.

The change in name to Johnson Pinney Architects, along with the associated brand identity, reflects the change in management of the studio that Mark established over 30 years ago. Whilst there have been several evolutions of the practice over this period, this change is reflective of Mark having stepped back from the day-to-day management, although continuing his involvement in the practice in a consultancy role.

Nick and the senior management team will continue to lead the studio, supported by the wider team, both to see through the delivery of the pipeline of live projects, and to manage the valued long-term relationships with clients, and our trusted supply chain of industry professionals and contractors.

Whilst the name remains eponymous, as a signature that underpins the reputation built over decades, this change allows long standing members of the team to take greater ownership of the studio into the future.
